HEATHER WHITE

Heather is the Founder & CEO of OneGreenThing. She's the author of 60 Days to a Greener Life: Ease Eco-anxiety Through Joyful Daily Action (Harper Horizon 2024) and One Green Thing: Discover Your Hidden Power to Help Save the Planet (Harper Horizon 2022). Heather has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management and policy advocacy. The former President of Yellowstone Forever, the nonprofit partner to Yellowstone National Park, Executive Director of EWG, and Director of Education Advocacy at the National Wildlife Federation, Heather also served as Counsel on Energy and Environment to United States Senator Russell Feingold (D-Wis.) and an associate a Bass, Berry & Sims law firm. A recount attorney and presidential campaign staffer for Al Gore in 2000, Heather has been named "One of the Top 100 Women in Wellness" by MindBodyGreen and recipient of the Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards. Currently serving on the board of several national nonprofit organizations, Heather graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Tennessee Law Review. She received her B.A. in Environmental Science at the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar. Heather lives in Bozeman, Montana.
