Eleanor Bigelow found her way to the environmental field as a result of having children.  She wondered: "What do I feed them? How do I find non-toxic household products? What shampoo is best?"  Eleanor was a founder and co-chairman of the food committee at her children's schools.  Eleanor was an early supporter of the Environmental Working Group Earth dinners and helped raise money for EWG. Additionally, she did outreach and fundraising for the Center for Food Safety.  Currently, Eleanor is working with Soil Centric, a non-profit which focuses on regenerative agriculture as way to mitigate climate change.  Eleanor got her BA from University of California, Berkeley, and spent 15 years in the investment banking business before transitioning to the environmental field. Eleanor lives in San Francisco with her husband and two teenagers.
