About the event

Eco-anxiety is growing as more people connect the dots between the extreme weather events we are experiencing and climate change. Join us for an interactive discussion on what eco-anxiety is, how to manage it, and how different generations approach climate action.

Intergenerational action and dialogue can help create the culture change we need for climate solutions - even in these divisive political times.

Speakers:

Heidi Pan is an 18-year-old environmental activist from New Jersey. Aiming to bridge the gap between aspiring environmentalists (herself included) and established professionals, she hosts and produces the 1.5 Degrees Podcast centered around the science, solutions, and stories in the fight against climate change. Her work has previously been featured by BBC Future Earth and the Smithsonian.

Edward Plimpton, PhD is a clinical psychologist who has specializes in children and adolescents for the past 30 years. He maintains a podcast "Your Anxious Child: 5 minute solutions"…
